
Jason McKinney
Jason McKinney brings over 25 years of expertise in driving process excellence and business transformation to his role as Continuous Improvement Manager at GBMP. With a 20-year relationship with GBMP, including two years as a part-time consultant before joining full-time in 2025, Jason excels in operationalizing lean principles derived from Industrial Engineering, the Toyota Production System, and the Danaher Business System.
Jason has led impactful lean engagements across aerospace, technology, healthcare, and specialty product sectors, facilitating kaizen events, value stream mapping, strategy development, and hands-on Toyota Production System workshops. His ability to coach leaders and teams in Daily Management and problem-solving methodologies, such as A3 and Toyota Kata, has secured recurring client engagements and fostered sustainable cultural change. Previously, whether working as a Continuous Improvement Plant Leader, Continuous Improvement Principal, or a Business Transformation Program Leader, he spearheaded initiatives that improved quality and delivery, enhanced operational efficiency, and reduced costs, saving millions through innovative and engaging process improvements.
Holding an MBA from the University of New Hampshire and a BS in Industrial Technology from the University of Southern Maine, Jason combines academic rigor with practical expertise. Some of his certifications include SME Silver Level Lean, Lean Six Sigma, and PMP, complemented by proficiency in tools like SharePoint, Power BI, Excel, Tableau, Visio, MIRO, AutoCAD LT, and various AI platforms. Jason’s passion for mentoring and facilitating empowers organizations to achieve world-class performance.
